A Rare Sight

Kenichi stood between two houses in Medius City. He looked at his town map on his Pokegear. Hearing a rumor of a strange colored Pokemon spotted in the area brought him to this place.

"Chimchar! Come on out!" said Kenichi, tossing the Pokeball into the air. Chimchar appeared in a flash of red light. "Chimchar, go to the rooftops and look for some Pokemon."

Chimchar nodded and smiled. He examined the buildings then found a spot and began to climb. When he reached the top he began looking for Pokemon.

And the first thing Chimchar saw was!!!!

Rows and rows of Natu's sitting on around the edge of the building, facing outwards towards the city, completely oblivious to your monkey pokemon.

As they sit there staring at god knows what, you'll on top of another building a Meditite...I suppose meditating on top of a tall TV-Antenna, some little debris's and some pots of flower floating around it.

Quite a site if you think about it. Suppose the top of building really has not many exciting things however.

Chimchar pointed out the different Pokemon. Kenichi followed him up at a clumsy pace. When he finally reached the top, Kenichi looked around at the pokemon. He pulled out his Pokedex and scanned the Pokemon, but they were all normal. "Hmm... Not here. Come on Chimchar," said Kenichi.

Kenichi held out his arm and Chimchar climbed up his arm and onto his back. Chimchar sat upon Kenichi's backpack and then Kenichi began jumping across the small gaps between some of the houses. He would stop at every other house to examine the rooftops, ground, and alleyways.

And upon landing on one roof...3 shadows suddenly zooms over you. Looking up, you see 3...

They were flying around in circle, each one looking at you menacingly. Looking around, you realize that this must be there little roof-top territory, and seems like you caught them in a bad mood, cause all 3 suddenly zooms down towards you, trying to get rid of you by pushing you closer and closer towards the roof edge!

Kenichi looked up as the shadows flew across him. "What the," he started to say when suddenly the three Pokemon were trying to push him off the roof.

Thinking quickly, Kenichi said, "Chimchar! Push back with Ember!"

Chimchar jumped on top of Kenichi's head then into the air. Chimchar took in a deep breath before releasing a volley of small fire balls. He used Ember in a horizontal arc to attack as well as make some room between them.

The attack worked! Though it didn't hit them, it did force all 3 back away from the attack. They all grunted in anger at the sudden retaliation, and they too, retaliated...With a combined Gust attack! These 3 Koromori were ready to get rid of you one way or the other!

You have to think fast, cause 3 on 1, and 3 Gust attack can easily push you off the building!

Kenichi frowned and pooled out a second Pokeball. "Mudkip! Come on out!" he said, tossing the Pokeball into the air. Mudkip appeared in the air inside of a flash of red light. Kenichi jumped back onto a second building while his pokemon stayed on the battling building.

"Mudkip! Mud-slap 360! Chimchar! Volbeat Ember!" said Kenichi.

Mudkip spun as Chimchar jumped above Mudkip. Mudkip planted down its paws and tails as it spun, slapping up a wall of mud as a defensive around Mudkip and Chimchar. The mud would be used as a wall to block the gust attacks, and after they hit Chimchar would use Mudkip as leverage to get a large enough jump. Jumping over the three Pokemon, Chimchar would use Ember from above.

The Komori were surprised by the sudden wall of mud that blocked their attack, they were also angered by this. They all cried in unison, "Mori, komori!" They were frustrated, but noticed that Chimchar was now above them. The three had obviously worked together in a fight before, because without even talking the split up. Two Komori went after Chimchar, while the third dropped down towards Mudkip, the wall of mud had lowered and it was now wide open.

The two Komori broke apart and while one dropped back, unleashing a gust to block the ember attack, the other went wide to the left and flew upwards at a perfect ninety degree angle. It came above Chimchar, so his back was facing the bat pokemon. As the gust connected with the ember, it neutralized the fire attack, sending bits of fire flying, and away from their target. The other Komori, then flapped its wings downward at the airborne Chimchar. Chimchar was completely helpless, going into the Komori's domain, even if only for a second, wasn't a very good idea. The bat unleashed a second gust upon Chimchar's back, accelerating him towards the roof below.

Mudkip was now faced with a kamakazi rat with wings. The pokemon flew low and fast, taking advantage of its high speed. Then, right before it was about to collide with Mudkip, its eyes flashed a purplish-pink color. The psychic flying type had decided to attack in a different manner than its friends behind it. The Koromori unleashed a confusion attack, sending mini psychic waves towards mudkip. It then pulled up and rose above Mudkip to avoid any retaliation attacks.

"Chimchar!" Kenichi cried out as he rushed for an idea. "Quick! Ember on the roof!" Kenichi had the idea for Chimchar to soften the landing by having Chimchar use the fire to lessen the descent. "Mudkip! Water Gun Rainbow!" said Kenichi. This was a move they used in a combination before. Mudkip jumped up and shot Water Gun at the ground. The pressure from the attack would cause Mudkip to soar up into the air in an arc.

Chimchar landed with a slight thud but recovered and was back on his feet. Mudkip was already up in the air by the time Chimchar recovered.

"Chimchar! Use Leer! Mudkip! Use Water Gun!" said Kenichi. Chimchar began to use Leer on the Koromori, hoping to attract their attention and lower their defense as Mudkip would come from above and strike the Koromori with a Water Gun at their back.

The ember had been a good idea, the impact had slowed Chimchar's decent, cushioning the fall a bit. However, it had also weakened the thin roof, and the monkey's weight was now on the weakened area. With a loud creak, the roof snapped, and Chimchar dropped through the hole below, into utter darkness. With Chimchar out of the way, the Kormoris decided to focus their attention of Mudkip. One of them wasn't paying attention, and was knocked to the ground by the water gun, the fall and the attack had been enough to knock it out.

Now the other two were all that were left, and they were mad. How dare this blue runt hurt their friend? They charged forward, in a zigzag formation, rotating left and right. They made it nearly impossible to be hit by another water gun, and in a matter of seconds, they were upon Mudkip. Both their eyes began to glow, and flashed the same purplish-pink color, as they hit Mudkip with a dual confusion attack.
